St. Michael Catholic School contracts with Miller Transportation to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective bus transportation for our students. The cost of this service is as indicated below:
- Family with 1 child – $500 per child
- Family with 2 children – $300 per child ($600 total)
- Family with 3 children – $250 per child ($750 total)
In order to reserve a spot on the bus for your child(ren) for the 2018 – 2019 school year, please complete bus registration in your FACTS account. A $100 deposit will be assessed when your stop is added to the route. The deposit will be credited to your bus service cost. Service will be provided on a first come, first served basis. We will not be able to hold a spot on the bus for your child(ren) unless the completed registratrion and deposit are received. Bus fees may be paid in full at the beginning of the year or with monthly tuition payments. Families commit to service for one full school year.
As you can imagine, there are a number of factors and guidelines to consider when establishing routes and stops and we rely on officials at Miller Transportation to assist us with this matter. While we try our very best to accommodate as many families as possible, bus transportation is not guaranteed for everyone who requests it. The bus deposit will be refunded if we are not able to add your family to the route. Final routes and pick-up and drop-off times will be determined by Miller Transportation. Please note that there will not be any additions or changes made during the first two weeks of school once assignments and routes have been established.
