I graduated with a B.S in Biology from the University of Kentucky as well as Masters in Teaching, Secondary Science from Bellarmine University (Ed.S/Rank I; Bellarmine).
This is my ninth year in education overall. I taught four years in Shelby County. At Shelby County High School, I taught Biology, Forensics, and Integrated Science. At Collins High School, I taught Science Enrichment and 8th grade Science for three years. I then transferred to the Archdiocese, where I am currently in my fifth year. For four years, I taught 7th and 8th grade Science and Religion at St. Albert the Great before becoming Assistant Principal at St. Michael.
Before education, I spent five years in the banking industry. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our son. I love cheering on UK, watching the Yankees, and spending time on St. George Island!
